Eid celebrations with our new Muslim brothers and sisters.

On Tuesday 4th June, the IslamWise family celebrated Eid-ul-Fitr with our revert brothers and sisters in Small Heath Park.

Alhumdulilah, we were pleased to see a huge turnout of brothers and sisters, with a full marquee. The day started off with the Eid prayer and khutbah in the park as part of Celebrate Eid organised by Green Lane Masjid.

It always is a truly memorable experience with over 50,000 Muslims praying together. The unity experienced at Celebrate Eid makes both the Eid celebrations, the events of the year which are not to be missed.

We then saw over 100 revert sisters and brothers along with their families attend the IslamWise marquee for a memorable Eid day gathering. Sisters were given gifts which were gratefully received.

And we couldn’t miss the children out. They were also given gifts and the smiles on their faces made it all worthwhile, Subhan Allah.

This was followed by a full 3-course meal which consisted of chicken roast, vegetable samosas and kebabs for starters. Mains were chicken biryani followed by cakes for dessert.

Sisters and brothers socialised with other new Muslims and made new friends. Some of these friendships even led to some sisters heading off to have some afternoon tea together.

A truly memorable Eid celebration for all and we are truly gratefully to Allah SWT for enabling us to offer this to our new Muslim family.
